"Lovely rooms comfortable stay amazing kitchen area needs a little updating"

We booked through booking.com and I think they should update the page slightly it still gave us information based on parking etc says free parking but there isn’t. However parking is cheap the rooms are lovely ( definitely not the barn shown in the picture ) it charges alor for if there is damage however a lot of the decor is poorly stuck on or already damaged when you go in ? How do they then monitor who has damaged what? Staff kind and friendly

The host cancelled on us the day before and we haven’t been able to get in touch despite trying 50 times to call him. The booking was paid for. He said he was double booked. This was clearly lied as he probably inflated the price for the bbc radio 2 concert. We had to book another room elsewhere which costs extra £. He is in breach of contract and will be sued
