"Disappointing!"

Really nice and clean apartment with good facilities in good position. Comfortable lounge.

Our stay was spoilt by the unbelievably uncomfortable bed. It was a small double, but you could feel the springs coming through the hard mattress. My wife went and slept in the lounge. We made an official complaint and the landlord - while he responded quickly - just brought a 'mattress topper' just a few mm thick; probs cost him £3.99 at B&M - unbelievable! This is the 2nd day of our 5-day stay after one night. We requested a 50% refund and we would leave that day and not leave a review. His response: 'Sorry, can't do that, it's the height of the season'. I honestly don't get it? Why can't business owners invest in their clients? A good Mattress Topper would have cost £60-£70 tops (excuse the pun) and a happy client who would definitely return. Staggers the imagination to be honest :( Finally; it was a 15yr old TV according to the model number - how much does a reasonably-priced smart TV cost these days?
