The apartment broadly met our expectations. It was mostly clean and tidy and everything worked as it was supposed to. The bed was very comfortable and there were optional additional firmer pillows. The shower was very good. The sofa was comfortable and we had no issues using the wifi. We were apprehensive about the rubbish issue prior to attending given the ongoing binmen strike in Birmingham, but there were no real issues, and there was a collection on one of the days we were there. We had a rear facing apartment and there was no noise isssues. The location was perfect for us in that we were attending an athletics event at the nearby Alexander Stadium. There were no issues with parking at the property (having completed and displayed the available parking voucher). There was ample storage space in the bedroom. There were no issues with the onsite lift. The adjacent convenience store was a godsend, and there was a large co-op within a 15 min walk as well as some good restaurants The price was reasonable and we felt reflected the standard of the property, which was lower than we would normally go for, but this was offset by it's location. We have rebooked for a stay next year.

Some areas of the apartment were a little grubby and there were holes in 2 of the walls in the bedroom, but this wasn't a major issue for us. Whilst the space in the available built in wardrobes was good, some shelves were missing and the sliding doors didn't fit the runners well, making opening them a little challenging at times. There was no life in the batteries in the TV remote necessitating the purchase of replacements in the local shop. Whilst I acknowledge the property also had permanent private residents, it could have done with better signage on the apartment floors, as it wasn't clear which way to turn for the lifts or nearest stairwell, and the hallways were internal.

Great location for Athletics at nearby Stadium and parking was provided.

But apartment overall was let down by previous occupants leaving food in microwave.

Use venue a few times and the rooms a bit hit and miss on this occasion the room was much better clean , and all fixtures and fixings in working order. The telephone number for venue does not work. The messaging system is ok - but need a contact number for those who struggle with messaging system.

A five minute walk to Alexander Stadium which was so convenient. A 5 minute drive to the supermarket and a variety of other shops.

Could do with a lick of paint to update it.

I was shocked at how dirty the place was and could not stay and left. I advised the owner of the cleanliness but did not hear from them.
