Cons: - Hidden payment - upfront deposit required for £75 via bank transfer(!), not via Booking.com and not with cash - ⁠Double bed mattress very old, can feel all springs - ⁠Sofa in the kitchen very worn out - ⁠ Extremely steep stairs leading to Flat 2 - ⁠Place rented for three people but had only two mugs I probably wouldn't mind the other things that much but the deposit was a shock. We only found out about deposit on the day of arrival from a message from the host. This was never shown in the posting, or in reservation email confirmation, or on the reservation details in the app, neither did we receive any messages regarding this in advance. On the day of arrival it was too late to cancel the booking of course. We did receive the deposit back after check-out but because this was a hidden payment I would not recommend the place.

around 12 pm the hosts barged in demanding £50 for the electricity i used on top of the price for the night and the deposit. i was then kicked out and my boyfriend physically kicked down the stairs by the host and i wasn’t able to stay the night. extremely disrespectful and rude. very unprofessional i thought all appliances were part of the price when booking or i would’ve booked elsewhere if i knew i’d have to pay an additional £50 for electricity.

Dealt with rude ower/staff You won't check in unless you have £75 ready to leave as a deposit. You've also got give your bank details in addition to your ID. By the time you leave, these ppl would have had all the details about you for a mere few hours stay. There is nothing in that place that I would buy for £75, so what the hell was that deposit business about? Also from the pics, you'd think it is a bed apartment with living room and lounge separate, it's not, it is all one piece

The term "de luxe" is stretching it a bit. The accommodation was very basic but served our purpose for just one night. Quiet at night, which was surprising.

Property was clean and tidy. Easy access to the shops

The weather was too hot and there was no fan. So we kept the windows open and was too noisy outside at night
