Epimonì B&B

This B&B is lovely and the host was excellent and very helpful. Be aware that access is on the side of the building adjacent to a parking lot through 2 locked metal gates and you must be prepared to carry your luggage up 2 flights of stairs as the elevator starts on floor 1. Unfortunately just around the corner from the property are homeless people sleeping on the street and in doorways and a lot of garbage and graffiti everywhere but this seems typical for all of Catania. There is a Lido around the corner and another good grocery store within a few minutes walk but very few restaurants. The main shopping and restaurant area is only about a 15 minute walk away.

Very lovely apartment. Absolutely immaculate and very lovely inside.

The location is a shock when you arrive though, above a lidl, very dodgy surroundings, and our car also got burgled , window smashed and belongings stolen.

Very nicely decorated. A very good breakfast. Walking distance to attractions.

Our hostess recommended some great restaurants and grocery stores. She was very enthusiastic about meeting our every need. We highly recommend this B&B!

Everything was perfect!

I didn't have the breakfast option as I spent most the time sightseeing leaving early morning and returning by evening. The location is great, right next to Lidl supermarket and they have a mini fridge so you can store things in there that need to be kept cold. The room was spacious and I liked the decor. This was a last min booking because I was already in Catania in another hotel which wasn't very nice and Kitty and Antonella were so kind to let me view the hotel before booking. They are such lovely hosts and very accommodating. It made my trip end on a high and felt safe and looked after. I would come back to this place if I come to Catania again.

The doors are sliding so it took a few tries to lock it but it's easy once you know.

Epimoni was a great stay - very accommodating of my desire to drop my baggage early in the day and had my room ready. The rooms are nicely decorated, comfortable, and they offer a great little breakfast. I recommend!
