A peaceful and relaxing stay at Antico Casale Benalì. Breakfast was delicious, and Valentina made us feel truly cared for. The location is perfect—quiet countryside but still close to Syracuse and Ortigia. Highly recommended!

"An oasis of peace after intense sightseeing"

We spent 3 nights at the property in May 2025, which was a base for visiting Syracuse and the surrounding area. We liked the hotel very much. Clean and nicely arranged room with comfortable beds. Nice communication with always smiling hosts. Good breakfast. Beautiful, large swimming pool, although the temperature prevented us from using it. The very quiet area provided good rest after a long day of sightseeing and a good night's sleep.

The facility is in the middle of nowhere. For dinner you have to go by car to Syracuse which requires planning logistics and is an additional cost. When making the reservation we were fully aware of this situation so for us it wasn't a problem at all.

Architecture and interior overall, beautiful pool, beautiful and functional room, nice fridge, cleanliness, parking availability, very kind attentive staff, great breakfast and amazing location to visit the entire eastern part of Sicily(Ortigia, Ragusa, Modica, Mt Etna, Catania and Taormina)

Mattresses were not the most comfortable, adding more vegetables to the breakfast would be a great addition to the already delicious breakfast and adding a sign at the front gate would make people less confused when arriving for the first time.
