Newquay - Caravan - Sleeps 8 - Parking - Seaside

Lovely spacious 3 bed Caravan, 1st time a caravan has been kitted out so well. The Owner Sarah went all out, Linen, Tea, Coffee, Cleaning Products…. really made the stay a “home from home”. The place was spotless - Thank you. When we arrived, The weather was atrocious and my 82 year old Dad was cold so we put 2 heaters on and within 5 minutes of entering, we blew all the electric. No wifi, No lighting, No Mobile Signal… Only heat source was the wee fire in the living room Give Sarah her dues, maintenance came and her cleaner followed. Dilemma solved! The location is stunning and only a stones throw away from Newquay. I really feel for the independent owners renting their caravans out, If you’re looking for a quiet remote hideaway, then this is the perfect Idyll, and Sarah will make you very welcome.

We were warned not to use too much Electric at one time but….. No wifi, No lighting, No Mobile Signal… Only heat source was the wee fire in the living room The following morning, I went to reception, I wasn’t impressed to every enquiry being answered by if you never booked by Away Resorts, contact the Owner. The rest of the week…. Facilities? Were almost non-existent! Swimming Pool - closed All week! Entertainment - None! Bar - only open once (as far as I know) Cleaner asked if we received our welcome pack, Entertainment passes, Swimming passes should have been with the welcome pack! Welcome Pack was a small email with the code for the Keylock Box. Facilities were appalling. I watched other families leaving early due to the lack facilities for the Children.

Not a lot

Most of it it caravan was very dated lots of things broken or breaking the cleanliness is non existent we found onion peel above the cooker and I won't even mention the pillows

The laundry/ bedding and towels / T towel were fresh. Thankfully the portable fires work well to heat the caravan up, as there isn't central heating. The shower was hot and powerful. There was plenty of hot water to wash up.

The caravan itself is in need of a little TLC. The covering on some of the kitchen cupboard doors is peeling off, the freezer door in the fridge is broken, and it keeps falling off. There are only three forks,and what looks like hairdressing scissors in the cutlery draw. The cleanliness of the cutlery, carving knives, meat trays, plates, cups and chopping boards wasn't very good. I felt the need to wash everything before using, as there was old food, grease on them. The cushions for the sofa in the cupboard had a strange smell to them. The key safe was a nightmare to open, I'm guessing it is weathered. It took a while to open. No pillow protectors on the pillows in the first single bedroom off the hall. No legs or stand on the rad/ fire in the second single bedroom the fire was just propped up the wall. Potential fire hazard maybe if used. Or at least the plastic covering on the wall would of melted.

The location is great with walk distance to the beach and other attractions, swimming pool in the caravan park and shop available.

The caravan was not fully prepared for quests. We had it booked for 8 people, however bedding and towels were prepared

The caravan could've been cleaned a bit better. There was food in the freezer which expired early August, so not sure how long it had been there. We were given one tea-towel for a week stay, had we have known we would've brought our own from home but instead had to buy some. No cleaning clothes or products so had to buy when we arrived which wasn't ideal.

It was our first time staying in a caravan and we loved it. Caravan was really clean. Beds were comfortable, and we had everything to hand. Thank you for sharing your home with us. We had a lovely holiday
