The Originals Résidence Aix Schuman

A lovely apartment hotel, very clean and modern. Small kitchenette. Within 10 minutes walking distance to the old part of Aix-en-Provence. Would happily stay here again.

Everything newly decorated and well designed. So happy I could open the window wide in my room. Liked the heated towel rack in bathroom. Friendly staff at reception. Actually I’d have liked something in the lobby area like book exchange/ coffee making facility/coffee & snacks machine or even free coffee available to make it a communal place to chill out in.

Très propre et confortable côté literie, dommage que l'insonorisation soit insuffisante (bruits extérieur -voitures- gênants) pour garantir un sommeil de qualité.

Quarto grande e confortável, café da manhã bom, mas poderia variar as opções ao longo dos dias. Instalações boas e novas. O estacionamento é cobrado por fora e é caro, sendo que não é um serviço terceirizado, o estacionamento é do próprio hotel. Deixo minha reclamação pelo valor de € 100 que foi depositado como caução e após 4 dias ainda não foi devolvido. Já mandei mensagem para o hotel duas vezes e ninguém me responde.

This was a nice hotel. It's actually more of a business hotel than a tourist hotel. The hotel was clean, well appointed. The staff was incredibly pleasant and kind. It is located adjacent to the university., Which was surprisingly quiet in the evenings. Hotel is also located close enough, approximately 1 mile, to the main center of Aix.

They gave us someone else's room initially. We walked into the room to discover the other guest's things still inside! The front desk staff was apologetic, but the experience made us feel uncomfortable for the rest of our stay. Also, the bathroom in the (correct) room had a strange smell. If you need fresh towels you need to request them, as they don't change them at all during any stay under 5 days. Similarly there is a 10€ fee for having the room cleaned if your stay is under the 5 days. Honestly, I wouldn't bother with this hotel. I'd suggest going for one of the many other options in the area.

Good option, close to the downtown. Great breakfast options. Book your parking in advanced.

The location is very good. Parking in Aix en Provence is confusing and the desk staff was so helpful to this confused tourist. Very good breakfast buffet - well worth the 16 euro cost.

Hotel is close to train station. It is a bit out of the old town, about 15mins walk, with no food/shop options close. Room was spacious with kitchenette, was clean but not cleaned during stay (expected but just fyi as is extra). Fire alarm went off first evening but when down at reception they said wasn’t an issue and can return to room.
