D&D riverside Homestay

I was here when it rained and it was still lovely. I'm sure it's amazing in the hotter months. Lovely staff and cute little private rooms by the pool. I made full use of the free bicycle and they also hire motorbikes.

Owners very very helpful with organizing a bus to Hue. Let me stay in the room whilst waiting for it. Very generous.

Possibility of Vietnamese style ridiculously loud karaoke till 10:30 at night (It happened one night)

Visible MOLD on the matress!!!! Visible mold on the surfaces!!! Room smelled very very bad. No ventilation in the room, so in the morning doors were covered by of a LOT of moisture. Heater was not working at all (it was promised in the list ) & it was very cold. No towels, no beddings. And there was no free canceletion option!

Staff was friendly and helpful. We could rent bikes for 50k bike/day. Everything was clean and for breakfast we got a banh mi. Location is perfect (quiet but everything you need is close and easy to get to Trang An and Tam Coc).

Beautiful pool, comfortable rooms, real mattresses, and actual brick wall between different rooms. Nice service and great location 5 minutes walk from Hang Mua (dragon mountain voewpoint). Cheap taxi from Tam coc to get there, free bikes. Wouldn't plan to use hostel bikes for a very long tour, they're a bit banged up, but they're fine for the 5km to go to Trang An boats or 3km to go in town. Fantastic for the price point. It's really great 👍

Only slight negative is maybe the food options in that little neighborhood being quite average (don't trust google reviews). The homestay food is alright.

Great place for all! The staff is very accommodating. The food is great. Is located at the road leading to Ninh Binh. Close to local village. Bicycles available for riding nearby mountain trails. 2 day stay

We had a great stay at D&D, the rooms were comfortable and clean and the pool was perfect for a cool off. Great location with a restaurant available at the stay or a short walk to marts, cafes, food or a short ride to popular attractions. Great value for money and very friendly host.

Free pedal bikes perhaps just need a little bit of repair but can’t really fault them as they are free!
