Disappointing breakfast. Poor English
We had an incredible stay at this hotel. The location is only half a block away from the Imperial City, surrounded b the real vietnamese lifestyle. The hotel have us and traditionell Indochine feeling with a spacious room with a large terrace and great views. The staff was super friendly and the service really great - including the lovely fresh breakfast. We even got offered a late check out for free. This place is highway recommanded.
DEGreat location in an authentic corner of Hue right next to the Imperial City. It's a beautiful building with a nice pool and great showers in the rooms. The rooftop is wonderful but wasn't mentioned when we arrived — it's got a lot of potential! There's a great, charming coffee place around the corner on the street parallel to the hotel's alleyway. It's just one street over to the east.
Staff were very friendly and helpful but it was sometimes a challenge to communicate. The breakfast was definitely the weakest element both in terms of the service and food. If the hotel had a better breakfast and coffee I would definitely have come back, I really liked the place.
GBNice room with balcony and outdoor chairs. Good shower. Charming people who run the hotel. They don’t speak English but easy to communicate with translator. Breakfast was included, but basic. Choice of Vietnamese Pho or fried eggs, and baguette, plus watermelon coffee and orange juice
Our first room had no proper window it looked onto a concrete wall, but when we said we didn’t like it they changed us to another room which was very good
GB- Hotel was gorgeous, beds were very comfortable. The best room we’d had on our Vietnam trip! - Breakfast was good but a bit small compared to other places we had stayed at which were cheaper. - Location is lovely and quiet, the alleyway is lit up with beautiful lanterns at night. Something to bare in mind is that cars can’t get down that street.
- Check in was a bit disorganised as not many of the staff speak very good English. I filled a form out when I arrived and left my bags, when I came back to check in properly the other staff member couldn’t find that sheet (we found it later). Then before dinner someone knocked on my room asking me to fill it in again. - Not many restaurants in the area but obviously you can use Grab
