"Great for relaxing and exploring Alentejo"

The property overall is huge, beautiful and very idillic, great for relaxing - but also as a base to explore the surrounding area (we visited Évora, Estremoz, Monsarraz and crossed over to Badajoz in Spain). The house where we stayed was rustic and authentic, but comfortable and well functioning. The dogs are huge but very friendly, and the property keepers are friendly and helpful, bringing fresh bread every morning. The host was proactive and easily available.

Beautiful, large spacious house with tremendous living room. A well equipped kitchen with little luxuries to welcome us. Large comfortable bed. Cool interior was very welcome on hot days. Peaceful, quiet and lots of space to walk amongst the vines and around the lake. Superb pool with shaded and sunny loungers. Everyone made a big effort to welcome and look after us.

The property and lodging were very beautiful and very special. Immaculately clean with everything you need. The people were so friendly and helpful, even leaving a freshly baked loaf of bread at our doir each morning. We would stronly recommend this listing to anyone who wants a superior & authentic Portuguse experience.

"Super Cozy Escape in the Countryside!"

This guest house is exactly what I needed. The setting was so peaceful and quiet, away from the city chaos. Both rooms were comfy and had all the amenities. Plus, it had a super cozy fireplace - perfect for relaxing in the evenings. We took a stroll to the pool, which was huge! Must be wonderful in the Summer. Also, Alexandra was super friendly and made us feel right at home. Five stars all around!
