Very nice, large room overlooking the pool. Fantastic staff. Very good breakfast.

The trundle bed. A non working safe. Thin, harsh towels. A shower in the bath. To negotiate stepping into and out of a bath to shower is difficult for older people, especially when wet and the bath is slippery.

Gostamos da piscina e da receção das funcionárias.

Não gostámos de ter sido só informados na hora do check-in de que o jacuzzi não estava em funcionamento,e de as obras que estavam por acabar nas zona do restaurante.

Excellent staff, very friendly, even though they didn't speak English we were able to communicate. Lovely room overlooking the pool and nice gardens. Nice town.

The trundle bed. The room we were going to have, 2 singles, had been flooded. We were given a king size bed room and a trundle, which wasn't comfortable for my friend. The safe broke, but nothing else was mentioned about getting it fixed.

Only the bedroom which was tidy and comfortable. No staff on site, only a mobile phone to call for a young member of staff came from “off site” she was very helpful when I had trouble with the security key system to open the front door.

No “on site” staff. Young girl who signed us in was helpful but found it difficult to understand us. Never saw the “owner/ boss” who did understand us when I complained about the lack of staff. She called the property “a guest house” in correspondence in is regarded as “hotel”. No room coffee/ tea making facilities. No information on the property “house rules” and no info. binder with local information on sites etc. Young girl (staff) was helpful with restaurant suggestion. As no staff on site having bought a bottle of wine at pool bar in late afternoon, leaving quarter full to drink early evening, but no staff available to open up pool bar. So did not finish. Finally, no hot water at 6.00pm for a shower and shave after a long days drive up from Portimao. Shaved in call water. In the morning Luke warm water for bath/ shower. Breakfast was very basic, it looked as if most of the break, no perishable foods, were left laid up for following morning.
