Maranta House, a Home in Madeira

Exceptional stay – highly recommended! This was a fantastic accommodation that perfectly suited our travel plans. The location is close to the center of Funchal and easily accessible by foot or car, without the need to drive up the mountain. The flat is newly renovated, well-equipped, and beautifully furnished, with a stunning ocean view from the 4th floor. It features a balcony, a spacious kitchen, a combined living and dining area, two double bedrooms, two bathrooms, a laundry room, and plenty of wardrobe space. The building also has an elevator and a garage. Our host, Vitória, contacted us in advance via WhatsApp and was waiting for us upon arrival. She handed over the keys, showed us around, and gave us several helpful recommendations for sights, activities, and local restaurants. We also received a welcome fruit basket and coffee capsules, which was a lovely touch. The apartment has everything you might need: dishwasher, washing machine, iron, toaster, fridge with freezer, hairdryer, and more. It was the perfect choice for our active holiday – we would definitely recommend it!

Просторные апартаменты с двумя спальнями, двумя санузлами, просторной гостиной и балконом. При заезде нас встретили, все объяснили. В апартаментах было чисто, аккуратно. Большим плюсом является собственное парковочное место в гараже - это очень удобно. Апартаменты находятся очень близко к старому городу и центру - гулять было одно удовольствие. По любым вопросам хозяин оперативно отвечал в мессенджере.

Немного шумно ночью, т.к. слышно как ездит лифт + соседей. Но это было некритично, т.к. случалось эпизодами.

O apartamento é perfeito para até 2 casais. Tem tudo o que a gente precisa: garagem fácil, elevador, camas confortáveis, chuveiro gostoso, máquina de lavar roupas e louças, cafeteira, geladeira espaçosa,… localizado a uma pequena caminhada do centro e fácil acesso para as estradas. Tem uma loja de vinhos ótima, bem em frente. A Vitória foi nos receber tarde da noite, quando chegamos, e foi muito atenciosa! Nos deu várias dicas de praias, restaurantes e bares, todas aprovadas! Também respondeu todas as nossas questões depois. Perfeito!
