"Damp, cold and location not as advertised"

The mezzanine area was nice and the views were nice too.

The house was cold and damp. There were 2 heaters which we had on permanently, but the temperature never got high enough. And the air was so damp that you could smell mould forming - even though the house was nice and clean when we arrived. Also, booking.com gave an incorrect location for the property. We thought according to the map that it was maybe 5 minutes walk into Faial, but in reality, the property was a 20 minute drive to the nearest restaurant / shop, and in a completely different location to what was advertised. If we had known the location of the property we would not have booked it. Also, despite the remote location, we actually had not much space surrounding us. There was private property all around us.
