Unmanned place, no staff, impersonal feeling. Guest identification /Italian authorities reporting procedure: "self" check in, hence apparent need to send copies of IDs via WhatsApp to "Little Square Arona Team"; hotels do not do it that way....! No privacy statement. No transparency and information about the requirement of sending copies of IDs via messanger prior to making a reservation. After I booked the room (and of course prepaid for it), I received almost a threat sounding like message via WhatsApp that if I don't send copies of IDs, I won't be admitted to the property.... Not everyone is comfortable to send copies of IDs and the guest must know about this requirement prior to making a reservation to make an informed decision. No window in the room hence no natural light as such in the room. The common part/ the hall equipped with a big skylight.
