Chalet Ficalho

The breakfast on the terrace was wonderful each morning. There was a wide selection of hot and cold options including eggs, croissants, fresh orange juice, fruit salad and organic yoghurts. Best of all Maria baked a wonderful cake (or the best macaroons ever!) that we could help ourselves to, in the morning or throughout the day. The surrounding gardens are beautiful with the bonus of a pool far nicer in fact than we had expected. All very well designed. We wanted to have a relaxing week and Chalet Ficahlo was a perfect choice for this. It was so good to be able to just take a book and read by the pool. Maria and Ana were such lovely, helpful and warm people- this makes a huge difference when choosing a hotel. It really felt as if we were staying in their house; which we were! The bedrooms were quiet and the bathroom we had was fabulous. High quality materials and one of the best showers I have experienced.

Nothing. Maybe having an espresso at breakfast but really that was not an issue. And I am sure if I'd asked for one it would've been possible..

This is easily one of the nicest places we have stayed. The staff is exceptionally helpful and everything is to a very high standard.

Good breakfast, but the tables could be bigger. Great garden and unusual luxury to have free parking in this prime area of Cascais.

There could be more power points, and the bathroom lighting was a bit strange, switching on from next to the bedroom door instead of by the bathroom or in the bathroom. Bedside lights were not optimal either: too bright and not directional.

Das Frühstück war wunderbar mit frischen Brötchen, frisch gepressten Säften und sehr schmackhaften Omelettes. Sehr freundliche und zuvorkommende Gastgeberinnen.Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit gerne wieder kommen

Nichts

Wir sind mit der Bahn und dem Taxi angereist. Uber-Taxis sind sehr preiswert. Wir sind sehr herzlich empfangen worden. Am Nachmittag stehen Getränke und frisch gebackener Kuchen (einer der besten Kuchen die ich je gegessen habe) im Frühstücksraum. Das Frühstück war je nach Wetter drinne oder auf der Terrasse draußen und ließ keine Wünsche offen. Alles ist sehr gepflegt und sauber. Alle sind sehr, sehr nett. Die Unterkunft ist sehr sehenswert und war für uns mit das Beste am ganzen Ort. Wir sind viel gelaufen und hatten gutes Wetter, die Unterkunft war super, was will man mehr. Vielen Dank.
