GREEN - Bed and Breakfast a Castrovillari

kind owner & effective communication via WhatsApp, nonstop check-in (codes), not far from highway, free & big parking

no lift, very cramped space at breakfast (in addition, according to the owner's instructions, breakfast was supposed to start at 7:45, but even at 7:55 the staff scolded me for coming early), the rooms are furnished rather austerely, the bathroom in my room was in the attic and therefore partially quite low, the mirror was at a height like for wheelchair users and the water drain from the shower was insufficient

This place was a marvelous find! We love the balcony view of the mountains and everything was top of the line. The host was so very friendly and welcoming. We slept wonderfully and the place was really clean. Breakfast was delicious!

The room was very clean and it has a private parking lot. The staff is very polite and friendly, we enjoyed our one night stay and we warmly recommend it.

This was a perfect stopover between Naples airport and Calabria! Only 2.5 hours from NAP. Prior to my arrival I was informed via WhatsApp of all the codes to enter the building and parking lot. Marialucia and her sister are great and friendly hosts. The building is easily accessible off the main highway. The building is 3 story with 2-3 rooms on each floor. Below is a fruit and vegetable market. It is on a main road with some traffic during the night. There is an access code for the large parking lot next door, as well as main door, door to the floor you are assigned and to your room. We had a basic room with a large bed wardrobe desk and private bathroom. It had AC. Which we did not need. We slept with balcony doors open ( screen intact). Simple breakfast of pastries espresso cappuccino offered from 7-10:00. Water bottles in room. We stopped to visit a friend in Castravillari on our way from Naples- it was a nice stopover. I’m glad I found Green on an internet search. And that they had a room available. I highly recommend. It’s friendly and comfortable. All we needed for a night thanks Green!!!
