U'Panare

Staff cordiale, camera ampia, letto comodo, climatizzazione buona, pulizia ottima. Da segnalare scale di accesso ripide, colazione senza il salato, e la mancanza di acqua calda. Sul posto non c'è nessuno addetto della struttura.

A very nice B&B in the heart of the historic town of Taranto. The tiny, small alleys are fascinating. This living gives you a nice, clean room with a very modern bathroom as an extra plus. The breakfast is in a common area with a big kitchen. The owners are very helpful and gives you all information you want and need. They also gives you the opportunity to bring the breakfast in a bag if you are leaving earlier than the breakfasttime. A perfect located living if you want to discover Taranto.

Just some notices: In the description it says yo have a breakfast with a lot of local products. That only exist in the weekends. Monday-Friday you got a more normal italian breakfast with a sweet bakery, yoghurt and coffee. The apartment is on the third level and it is steep stairs up (no elevator).

The bedroom is Big. Matress IS confortable. Shower is Big.

The view is shabby. The breakfast was very disappointing, all the more since we chose the accommodation because of the good reviews. We were the only people, so almost everything was in plastic, wrapped. Only a croissant was fresh. So stay in the new city where it's cheaper and don't go in the old part, which is more expensive.

U’Panare is of the nicest places I’ve ever stayed in, the room was beautifully decorated, located a very convenient and beautiful location and the staff went above and beyond to help me with anything I needed. This b&b was amazing and I can’t wait to return soon! I would recommend it to anyone looking to visit Taranto.

We enjoyed very much our 1 night stay before our cruise from Taranto. Our spacious pink room is beautifully decorated. Bathroom is large and bright. Liked the common area and kitchen and dining area. The couple is very nice and welcoming.

My experience at U'Panare was disappointing. I chose this accommodation using two filters on Hotels.com: Parking and Breakfast. However, parking was not available. The owner provided a parking address, which led me through a maze of narrow streets and dead ends. I eventually found a spot in a nearby plaza, but there were people asking for money to "watch" my car, which felt uncomfortable. The neighborhood seemed unsafe, with people shouting at each other day and night. At one point, a man entered the building with me when I entered the keycode and began banging on metal doors and shouting loudly. Additionally, there was a water leak from the window. Despite the owner's suggestion that the window hadn't been closed properly, I am certain it was. This caused a large puddle in the bedroom and soaked my suitcase. Although the place was clean and the breakfast was good, I would not recommend this accommodation to other travelers.

We really enjoyed our stay at U'panare in the old town Taranto. The area is quite edgy - not completely regenerated yet therefore it may not be everybody's cup of tea but there are very good (but not obvious) eateries nearby. We had a very good dinner at Locanda San Guiseppe ( recommend almond and pistachio crusted fish fillet ! ) Also recommend Caffe Letterario for a drink - very friendly staff and good beer and wine....There is free parking on the Via di Mezzo. Thanks again for the wonderful stracciatella cheese on Saturday breakfast. 🙏🏻
