Friendly (owners?) clean.

I am writing to express my deep disappointment with the service and room we received during our stay at your hotel in Nazaré. We had booked our room on June 23rd, specifically requesting a panoramic view room. However, upon arrival, we were given a room that was not as requested and located beside the lift. The constant noise from the lift was highly disruptive. We requested to change rooms, but were informed that there was no availability unless we were willing to pay a higher price. This was very disappointing, as we should have been informed in advance if the room we booked was unavailable. Being informed at 5 PM on the day of check-in is not acceptable. Furthermore, the room itself was below expectations: - There were no accessible plugs for charging phones, except in the bathroom. - The view from the window faced a neighboring house with laundry hanging, far from the panoramic view we expected. I believe that if a panoramic view room was not available, we should have been notified well before our arrival. This would have allowed us to make alternative arrangements rather than being stuck with a room that did not meet our expectations.

This was such an amazing hotel experience, especially because the staff were so friendly and very helpful! They went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of, they even came with us to help us find free parking on a busy weekend night! The location is great and the rooms are very nice with a view of the ocean. I absolutely recommend this hotel!!
