Holiday Motel

Great low cost place for fishing parties.

We rented the one bedroom suite with a kitchen for 4 nights. Place was very nice. My rooms were messed up in the beginning but they fixed it asap. The only bad thing about the room was the bed was hard and no space to put your clothes up or out for a long stay so it had to stay in suit cases. The TV didn't work unless we streamed with our hot spots signal was to week. Our room could have been cleaned at least once. But the Manger was amazing and drove in a hr to drop off clean towels and trash bags for us. But enjoyed our stay and the Manger was very friendly and nice. Also liked they have BBQ outside and crab boiling stations at each room. They also made sure I had extra blankets before I got there since I requested them. I wish the place was more handy cap friendly as to I use a wheelchair and have issues getting in and out of tubs but being on the ground floor helped. Only other thing I didn't like was the smell from the seafood packing place across the street it smelled bad.

Holiday Motel is the place to stay!! Angela is a gracious, friendly, welcoming and helpful host. Checkin was quick and easy. A cute inviting clean little room with twin beds, a queen, a table and chairs to dine on. I was impressed that the refrigerator had a generous freezer, bigger than any big hotel would provide. I was able to fit 2 big blue ice packs, and 2 64oz bottles. And a shower head with a full spray of water was a big plus! The dock is within walking distance so we bought crab supplies and ended up with 2 legal size Dungeness. We didn’t have a pot to cook them. Angela came to the rescue providing us with a crab pot! What a gal! There is a room with sink for fishermen to clean their catch. BBQ grills and propane are provided! Also free parking is available. A few good restaurants within walking distance make it convenient. For certain, Holiday Motel will always be our stay each time we return.

We visited Westport for razor clamming and were pleased with our overall experience at this reasonably priced motel. It would be a great choice for charter boat customers too. As other reviews have noted, the motel is super close to the marina, and management allows you to park on site while you are out on the water. At this price point, I would probably award five stars were it not for some relatively minor maintenance issues. A power outlet (needed for phone charging) did not work and the shower soap holder was broken and hanging down on the wall. I had no concerns with the cleanliness of our room.
