Holiday Motel

The smell from the fish processing plant ruined it for us. The hotel itself was ok, minimal, one of rooms had something on the ceiling over the bad and the fan in the other room had thick dust on the vents. Location was good, but the smell in the air was just unbearable.

The room was nothing like the pictures on the web site. Bathroom was dirty. Baseboard was coming off bathroom wall. Some type of black spots behind bathroom door. No air conditioning just a dusty box fan. No one at the check in desk to help with complaints. Ice machine in fish processing area. Thin walls, could hear someone in the next room taking their shower and singing and when they dropped their soap. I would NEVER recommend this place. I only needed a room for one night and was traveling with pets so not looking for fancy but this was beyond ridiculous. Almost forfeited the money I paid to go to another place but we were exhausted from traveling all day. Fish smell outside next morning was disgusting.

An old school motel that is well maintained and is very clean. It caters to primarily fisherman heading out on charters and is equipped for that. A very pleasant stay

Priced right, upgraded Interior. Quiet. Convenient to areas of our FAVORITE town.

My Brother and I came for our 9th fishing trip aboard the Tornado. The weather was overcast and foggy. HOWEVER, when we got to The Holiday Motel, there was a 24 hour check in kiosk which made check in easy, and the room was great. We had a Queen and 2 twins which was more than we needed, but the only down side was the table. It was difficult to walk around and trading the queen and twin bed configurations would've made more room for it. But that's minor. The room was clean, so were mini fridge and Microwave. Bathroom was clean also. Beds a bit firm for my liking, but you cant cater to everyone. Definitely will be coming back the same time next year for trip #10. Had we stayed longer, we could've used the BBQ grills onsite.

The motel was dirty, drapes coming off the windows, no phones,in room. yelling and screaming by guests above us into the night. No blankets on bed, had to ask for them and go into the office in another building. Check in was by a machine, no personal contact. When we ran out of sugsar fro our coffee, had to go back into the office and rang the bell several times. Fianally a cleaner came up on the sidewwalk and told us she would get it when sh replentished our room. never happened and we were gon all day. Back to the office, rang the bell wait for ever for someone to come to the desk, he says, well, if I can find it....good grief sorry for dragging you away from the tv in the back. worst stay Ive ever had

It was a great stay.

The room was big and clean and within walking distance of shops, restaurants and fishing trip check in. And I loved the outside seating and BBQ's. But the bed was absolutely terrible.
