Nachts war es teilweise laut, aber das lag am Verkehrslärm und an den Möwen!

Great location and easy on street parking.

Not very comfortable home unfortunately - very uncomfy bed, couch table etc. Just not very well set up - coffee machine but no coffee, no oil salt pepper etc, not even dishwashing detergent or dishwasher tablets. Property is not in the best shape - the blinds broke as soon as we arrived and I let the property manager know and they sent someone around to fix the next day which I said was okay if I was given warning. No warning was given and when we got home from being out they were upstairs fixing blinds and the downstairs door was open wide open to the street with access to our valuables and passports in the room.

I couldn't get oven to work but they did send someone twice but it kept resetting itself so I had bo cooking facilities however I did have hob and microwave

Full kitchen, location, clean

Breaker off for stove led to some frustration with working the stove. It seems to be a thing to unplug everything and leave breakers off. Upstairs shower drains very slow. It said washing machine so I searched for it. Never found it til I read a review my last night which said it was in the balcony cupboard. Strange place to put it. Usually kitchens will have salt, oil, maybe tea, coffee, leftovers from previous guests. This kitchen was spotless as if I was the first guest. Weird.

Close to restaurants and the beach.

Needed more than one key

The property was ideally located in the centre of Carvoeiro. The property wasn't cleaned to a high standard, there was a lot of dust and the place smelled quite musty on arrival. There were no wine glasses and we had to get our own. They have blinds in the property that are of no use and are poorly maintained. These need to be upgraded. There is no pool, so in the height of the summer you'll need to walk to the nearby beach. The apartment has 2 free standing fans which are OK but can be a struggle in July / August. There's a roof terrace with a picnic table and 2 uncomfortable chairs. They could make things much more comfortable by providing a couple of loungers. It would really make such a difference as we couldn't enjoy the terrace due to this. We had 3 issues during our time here, they were resolved by the factor but it was inconvenient and highlights the fact that the property could be better maintained. If the owner is reviewing this: 1. Provide better blinds 2. Put loungers on the roof terrace 3. Ensure there's adequate glasses 4. Improve drainage in upstairs shower and repair shower door
