Quinta do Louredo

Local agradável, com um restaurante com um chef muito bom, o Ricardo! Cozinha maravilhosamente bem e com uma simpatia enorme. Tudo cozinhado na hora, no forno e feito com legumes e frutas da horta. Nunca comemos um arroz de feijão tão bom! Repleto de sabores! Em compensação, ao pequeno almoço, a funcionária não questiona o que pretendem, havia ovos por exemplo porque vimos a frigideira e as cascas…. mas ela nem sugere ou informa….mas sumos, compotas, mel, ovos, tudo das hortas, das árvores ou das galinhas que têm lá! Na receção nem sempre tem gente, temos de ligar para um telemóvel quando chegamos (demoraram 10 minutos a abrir o portão) ao sair também, tivemos de ligar…mas simpáticos e preocupados com os clientes. Tudo muito limpo e bem arranjado! Os animais são muito giros, para consumo também alguns infelizmente ou felizmente pois a comida fica boa! ☺️ gostamos muito e com certeza iremos voltar!

Worst stay of 36 days in Portugal.. Room so small was a joke ...no coffee impolite ckeck in. Shower was ok. Breakfast was in a seperate building ....staffed by 1 person...coffee was instant coffee ....staff were non existant. Property was ok for kids i guess. Can't recommend.

Charming Quinta outside Évora with perfect hosts Daniela and Ricardo. Very charming place and property is beautiful. Treat yourself to a walk to visit the sheep, goats, donkeys, pigs, birds. Best treat though is special meal prepared in wood oven by Ricardo. You have to book that dinner ahead of arrival directly with the Quinta. Very worth it!! All employees were great during our stay end October.

We only had one night at this little gem of a property. Very unique farm stay with a lovely farmhouse kitchen where the friendly chef makes a few specialty items each night and serves them as if you were in his home. The breakfast was good as well, fresh scrambled eggs, breads, juice, coffee, yogurt etc. the only difficulty we had was arriving in the evening and the driveway gate was closed and we weren’t given a passcode. Fortunately another guest pulled up behind us and put the code in to open the gate. We also didn’t know where reception was and in the dark weren’t sure where to go until we saw other people entering a building. Wandering around the farm in the morning and seeing the animals was nice, and our unit was clean and comfortable.

Foi uma surpresa muito agradável. O quarto é moderno, acolhedor e muito confortável, e o chuveiro é ótimo. Fomos muito bem recebidos e atendidos. No dia seguinte o café da manhã foi muito agradável.

Das Gelände der Quinta ist sehr schön und weitläufig und lädt zum entspannen ein. Man kann alles erkunden und die verschiedenen Tiere auf dem Hof sind besonders für Kinder ein Erlebnis. Beim CheckIn wurden wir nett empfangen. Das Family Studio ist geräumig und modern eingerichtet, hier wäre ein kleiner Kühlschrank noch praktisch gewesen, aber wir sind auch so zurecht gekommen. Leider wurde während der drei Nächte Aufenthalt kein Mal das Zimmer geputzt - zumindest den Mülleimer könnte man leeren. Das Frühstück war solide - aber hier haben wir uns leider gar nicht willkommen gefühlt. Das Personal (mal eine, mal zwei Frauen) war fast schon unfreundlich und konnte es kaum erwarten raus zu gehen und uns alleine im Frühstücksraum zu lassen, sodass man warten musste, wenn man Rührei oder Kaffee wollte. Ein Highlight war für uns das Abendessen, das in exklusivem Rahmen für wenige Gäste gleichzeitig reserviert werden kann. Der Chefkoch und Chef der Quinta ist sehr herzlich, versteht sein Handwerk und erklärt viele Hintergründe seiner Küche. Die Gerichte sind im Holzofen zubereitet, traditionell gehalten und sehr köstlich. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt, aber zum perfekten Aufenthalt hat es durch den Service beim Frühstück und Aufräumen nicht ganz gereicht. Wenn das Niveau dem Abendessen angepasst wird, dann hat man hier wirklich eine Top-Unterkunft!

Sehr schönes Anwesen, etwas abgelegen und dadurch sehr ruhig. Man kann viele Tiere bestaunen und einfach die Seele baumeln lassen, schade nur dass der Jacuzzi in unserem Zimmer nicht funktioniert hat.

Great little Quinta outside Evora, within a lovely small holding type compound. We found it easy to find, and the studio we stayed in had nice modern fittings, and was very clean. The breakfast could be a little better, but this was just a small gripe during a lovely stay. We would stay again!
