CATANIA CENTER B&B

We had a great stay in this B&B and if I go to Catania again then this is my first option. Clean and nice room with dito bathroom. From here it's easy to walk to the city centre. There are only 3 rooms, that's why breakfast is simple (no eggs no yoghurt) but each morning with perfect coffee and croissants.

Ein ideales Quartier für eine City Tour

This was very convenient location

The accommodation was very clean and comfortable. It is very easy to connect with Alfio, and he is very responsive. I very much appreciated his willingness to respond to all my questions and requests. Also, It was easy to find parking spots, but perhaps it was because it's off-season. We personally loved one of the ladies who were there for breakfast - extremely nice and responsive lady!

Having in mind the accommodation is very close to the center of Catania, I didn't expect the neighborhood to feel so unsafe and bad. The good thing was that we were no more than 3 to 5 blocks away from the center where it felt different. Also, we requested baby cot, which we couldn't use because there was no mattress, so we ended up with a toddler in our bed for the whole stay.

Gute Lage nahe der Stadtmitte, direkt beim Ausgehviertel mit vielen netten Kneipen. Zimmer, Bad, Küche alles neu und sehr sauber. Wie konnten die Küche und den Aufenthaltsraum mit benutzen. Super netter Vermieter.

Access to coffee or tea anytime was great.

The breakfast is not really a breakfast. An industrial muffin in a plastic bag is not a breakfast. There was no fresh fruit, no yoghurt, or anything else. It was a very minimalistic breakfast. Tee coffee and juice was nice in the morning. I was disappointed we could not get a refund for 1 night we were unable to get to the B&B due to high winds and weather conditions closing ferry lines from aeolian islands to Sicily. This was an unfoeseen circumstance out of our control. The property as well as booking.com did not seem to care enough to refund the money. We advised them of this issues in advance and as soon as we were made aware of the possible situation. I am very disappointed with this.
