Econo Lodge Waynesboro - Skyline Drive

Ownership was very nice.

The room was rundown. Broken furniture that had been repaired, lumpy mattress. The hot water in the shower was only luke warm. I understand that this is an economy grade property, but the cost-cutting went a little too far.

The woman at the front desk was very charming and lovely.

The reason my review is so good is bc the people and the honesty. I forgot to get my 100 dollar deposit and went back a few days later and it was there no questions asked other than the process of my ID etc. That said alot, that it didn't disappear or be taken by someone. Honesty and integrity mean something to me. The staff there all smiled at me and were very helpful. Its literally the nicest econo lodge I have ever stayed at by far. The value was awesome. Yes its econo lodge, so you have the things you have vs the other places but bed was comfortable, shower head was awesome, very strong. Bathroom was clean, everything in the room was like most all other choice hotels. Honestly, choice hotels are qhere its at for value and consistency.

The only thing I would say that could be better in my room is that the air conditioner wouldn't stay running so it kept coming on and off to keep temperature and it was still fine, but I like to be able to control the climate more. But again, it was still adequate for the most part.
