The Grand Regal Resort

People were nice but the fridges didn’t really keep anything cold, the AC wasn’t working and we were given a fan to use but the room was still 77 degrees. There were no hangers in the 1 tiny closet in the room. The pillows were all flat as pancakes. **It is also marketed as a hotel but is really a roadside motel.

We had problems with the air in our room. The temperature would bever get below 76 degrees. After getting checked in, it took 45 mins of riding ariund to find our apartment.

I was dissatisfied with dirty dishes and silverware. I loved the beach. I really wish I lnew aboit the associated packages for activities. I was VERY disappointed that I was housed in a room that was not what I booked. I booked for 6 adults and 1 child and chose a suite with 2 bedrooms. We had 1 bedroom with 2 double beds, a pull out sofa woth no blanket or pillows provided.

The air conditioning was CRAP! Room stayed on 75 and no way to control it. All placed advertised to eat was closed. Nothing opened Monday.Dairy cream open from 5-9 pm Tuesday.thank goodness the Mexican place was very much appreciated and they were super nice. Office people were rude and did know anything.we left a few items. Called they said they found them.going to mail to me.. nothing in 6 days. Calling to get them . I need my money back for the stay of 4 days and my personal property back. Some were needs meds. Advertising was wrong . Beach front, picture show sand in front of you. Out the door of my Beachfront room was a parking lot and I had to walk 60 feet to the sand. Concrete my friends. I need my money refunded to me. I’ll take 1/2 of it and a free week. Close this place and get someone who can run it.

The room we stayed in was out dated and poor condition. Shower doors did not work. Plus could only get lukewarm water. Had hold handle down on toilet to flush. The bathroom door was hard to close with peeling veneer. The mirror was horribly oxidized. No hair dryer provided, slivers if soap, and a combo shampoo. The room also smelled. As a result we slept there only one night even though we paid for two. The quality of the overall product does not justify the cost of the room we were charged. We enjoyed the lake however we will be reluctant to stay at Goldston’s again.

There was no where to hang our clothes. we were there for a wedding and couldn't hang our dresses to keep from getting wrinkled. not even a hook in the room. The remote didn't work to the tv. Couldn't even turn the tv off. No where to put our suitcases except for the bed. The floors were dirty, our feet or socks were dirty after walking around. Only one Chair in the room for 2 people. No elevator. We were on the second floor with no Elevator!! and not notified at time of booking, I am 67 yrs old and my sister is 80 yrs old. I had to carry all our luggage up to the second floor with no help, Was told they would look to try and change our room when she was back in the office, NEVER heard back from her. I am on a fixed income, Medicare, I dont have money to blow. I Will never stay there again. Or recommend this place to anyone

Location and very new and clean.

Internet was never working and the staff could not fix it. For a place to advertise free internet and then know it is not available is extremely disappointing.
