Pete's Lakefront Motel

Lacking enough electrical outlets for charging phones/other electronics. Also had to unplug the refrigerator to plug in the coffee pot. Bathroom needed some repairs such as shower curtain and toilet paper roll

So it’s a pretty nice view and deck the room was super clean. But the beach area and patio were dirty. Put a broom in the room for ppl since there’s a beach out front and clean up the beach are this would not take long it would be free to do and would make big improvement and get hot water for crying out loud

We were lucky to get a room facing the lake. Beautiful view. There are chairs outside the door to sit and enjoy the breeze and view.

Great location, perfect lake views. This is an older motel. It shows its age. The door seals look like they should have been replaced years ago. Bugs get in through the cracks. But the management has updated the interiors of the rooms. There are newer floors, fresh paint, the mattress was very comfortable and it was spotlessly clean. Overall I would recommend it for people who are not picky. The views are really outstanding and everything in GOTL is in walking distance. Some pointers - There is no pool on site. You can walk down the street to tge sister motel for their pool. Parking is tight, make sure you are good at reversing. The "beach" is subjective. You can access the water from the stairs, but there is no place to really sit. There is no office or staff to talk to other than housekeeping. You revieve a text with a door code. For my husband and I, it was worth it and we would go back at that price point.

The best location and Very reasonable rates. . No staff was onsite. Staff was at the hotel across the street under the same management. Everything walking distance and right on the lake.Marvelosus views.

We really liked our stay. We enjoyed the room. Clean.

I would have liked to have had more information regarding lack of staff on site.(we did not have any issues that needed staff) The only downside is that the window in front of the outside light needs a curtain, it was too bright. We did not need tv as we came in late but there was not enough outlets for the air conditioner, tv, and cable box. Had to pick two things to plug in only.

This is our 2nd time staying here and as long as our group doesn't grow any bigger, we will return here every year. Lisa was super responsive.

Wonderful view of Lake Erie. The toilet pump stopped working each night which also stopped the air conditioner. Will say owners responded quickly to rectify the situation.

Never encountered an employee. Lobby closed at 5 in afternoon. Used key pad for entry into room. Room clean. About what I expected: very basic room at a good price. View of Lake Erie from room made me happy! The deck out back provided an exceptional view!!
