La Villa Motel

Overall for the price its a very efficient motel! Service was quick and friendly. It seems like they are upgrading some rooms and our room looked to be updated. The beds while old were fairly comfortable! The pillows where thin and their were some suspicious red dotted stains on both bed sheets. But after extensive searching there were no signs of active bugs! Its an older motel so keep ur expectations low.

It was quick and easy to check in, even let me check in a half hour early. Got in the room and first thing I noticed was the floor tiles were moved out of place and not properly fastened. As I used the bathroom I realized there was no shower curtain. I finally noticed, when I went to watch tv that the picture was fuzzy and it was because they had a broken cable just placed into the t. Comfortable stay, they just really need to fix some stuff properly instead of bandaid fixing.

Very large and clean room microwave and refrigerator provided. Nice size TV, king size bed.

What I liked was staff was nice! The towels were brand new. The refrigerator, microwave and Tv are a nice size. What I didnt like was the sheets was dingy and I did see 1 roach in the bathroom sink.

Homeless people around asking for cigarretes bad odor

Stayed for 3 nights. No maid service, but an envelope to tip the maid. When we left they asked us to remove our garbage. I don't mind cleaning up after myself, but make a dumpster or large garbage can noticable. All together not a bad experience if all you need is a bed to sleep in and a pot to pee in.

Everything was really good except one thing I found very odd is that there was no ice machine and the vending machine was pretty lackluster.

First, we had to look up the number online and call to have someone come out (in their pajamas) to check us in; this was after repeatedly ringing the doorbell. It was around 8pm when we tried to check in. While we waited, we noticed an unplugged rusty old vending machine sitting on the walkway out front. Then, once we got checked in, it was quickly discovered that the room was not as advertised. VERY DIRTY and run down. Holes in the walls and curtains. We slept with the lights on and on top of the blankets. We left most of our belongings in the car because of the condition of the room. It was only somewhere to sleep so we weren't so picky until during the night I saw a cockroach on the wall. There was also a cockroach on the freezer door when I opened it to retrieve my grandson's breastmilk. Good thing we didn't need to use the toilet much either as there was not enough paper to have wiped more than a couple of times. There was not even a bar of soap in the bathroom. I wish I could share pictures because we took several. I am seriously not over exaggerating; it was the single worst motel room I have ever stayed in. So disgusting. I don't know how they ever had a decent review. You could not pay me to sleep there again.
