Further Hotel

Location (proximity to heaps of cool cafes, restos, bars and shops), staff friendliness and responsiveness, design and interior and facilities (bike and buggy - which are huge advantages for exploring around).

The aircon was too hot. Told the staff and it was set to the max but was still too hot to fall asleep. And the proximity to the main street with the sound of car and bikes at night, making light sleeper like me wake up a few times during the night.

I great place to stay and handy to all restaurants, cafes. Exceptional service. Beautiful rooms and awesome roof too pool

I enjoyed my stay here so much. The room was modern and clean, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the staff went above and beyond to help. The hotel is close to cafes, shops, and public transport. Perfect for both work and vacation. I would gladly stay again.

I stayed one night at Further Hotel and really enjoyed the beautiful, design-driven room and the calm Pererenan atmosphere. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the whole place had a stylish, relaxed vibe. A lovely boutique stay for a quick getaway. Staff - Widia has been very responsive and helpful with my enquiries right from the amendment of dates to the pleasant birthday sweet touches. Staff at the reception - Dewi and Dela are friendly and lovely! We arrived when it was raining heavily and Dewi even welcomed us with umbrellas. The hotel and cafe are in separate buildings, but there’s a buggy to drive and pick us up. St Ali cafe has the best coffee and service around, we loved our stay in Canggu and this is a great start to our trip! :)

It was a hotel recommended by a friend. I had already done some research before checking in, and I was very happy that it met all our expectations! My wife was very happy, so I was very happy too, hahaha.

What an experience . Regret not staying here for an extra two days . The service was 5 ⭐️ definitely in my top 3 hotels I’ve stayed at .

MASSIVE DISAPPOINTMENT. Do not be fooled by the Conde Nast Award, and please read the bad reviews first!! We checked out early because we knew we would not enjoy our holiday if we continued staying here. 1. EXTREMELY NOISY. Felt like I was sleeping by the roadside, with the motorcycles zooming past every now and then. The walls are thin as well, I could hear when other guests were outside and opening their doors, and when housekeeping was doing their rounds. I was up at 6am after my first night because of the noise (road + housekeeping outside etc). Definitely not the peace and calm the listing photos try to portray. 2. EXTREMELY DARK AT NIGHT. Photos look good because they were taken in the day, i.e there was light. But when night comes, be prepared to use night vision goggles. The room is sooo dimly lit we struggled to move around. Could barely see my body while showering. Perhaps they were going for a romantic/ cool vibe but it definitely is NOT practical. 3. FORM > FUNCTION. Sure, it looks pretty in photos. But it is also stupidly impractical. The bed is placed in the middle of a raised concrete platform. Looks good in photos but so inconvenient to get in and out of. Not to mention the bed is a little on the soft side as well. My wife fell down one of the nights while trying to use the bathroom. The 2 'sitting' chairs they place in the room also encapsulates this theme of form over function. So damn difficult to get into, and when I am finally sat in it, the position is so uncomfortable that it was cutting off blood supply to my legs. And then it was another challenge trying to get up. There was no where comfortable to lounge in (useless sitting chairs, concrete all over, difficult bed to get into). TLDR; Just don't book this and look elsewhere.

Beautiful stay. Design and architecture is a dream. Room is beautiful and clean. Great service. Incredible food. Great value for money and great location. For Bali the noise level is good. Had great sleep
