Daydream Lodge Tegallalang

A litle resort in the middle of the jungle, an oasis of tranquility. A good startingpoint for exploring rural areas. a trip to Ubud or the vulcano Batur. The staff was nice an willling to find something gluten free for me, alhough they didn´t have much experience from before. The can prepare a large specterof diets. A little swiming pool is gently chlorinated, so it is safe but at the same time not irritatting. I found a lokal driver, a nice man who took me to several historical na natiral landmarks for a good price.

As everything is in jungle, it is difficult to dry your clothes. Because the high humidity the clothes must be exposed to direct Sun, which is not possible. Lokal shopping possibilities are limited.

The staff were top notch. Never have I stayed at a place and had my vehicle cleaned overnight just because they wanted to be of service (without my asking). Exceptional spot and experience for the price. I couldn’t recommend enough. I will be back.

A good Villa for a reasonable price. An authentic rice fields and forest nearby, a hammock on the balcony. Friendly staff A huge fan instead of ac is surprisingly better to make temperature comfortable.

The staff were excellent. We were treated like family and not merely nameless hotel guests. They went the second mile to ensure guests were well taken care of. Tiary even took me to the waterfalls on her scooter! The hotel is in an idyllic location far away from the commercial parts of Bali; the environs exude a certain old-world charm.

Wonderful peaceful place in the jungle, brandnew appartements but most important, wonderfull hosts. Thank you for making our stay so great :-)

Kind of a late review, but better late than never :) - My boyfriend and I booked a room just for a couple of nights for our anniversary in September. They set up a surprise for us (flowers, cake, and wine), which was super kind! All the staff was nice and really helpful, suggesting local activities and food (they also shared with us the nasi goreng recipe). We were also able to rent a scooter directly from them at a reasonable price. Overall, it was a great experience and they made us feel at home ❤️ absolutely recommended 💯

I loved the hospitable atmosphere: everyone truly made us feel like we are part of the family. The swimming pool is quite nice and well-maintained (special towels offered if you go for a swim) and the peace and quiet was fantastic: especially after the busy cities in Bali with so much traffic and impressions. They also served delicious food.

They are currently building extra rooms, so during the day it was a bit noisy. However, at night it was absolutely calm and great.
