The roosters woke us up at 4 am and it's a bit isolated

La struttura è nuova (aperta da meno di due anni), ed è molto particolare e scenografica: si tratta di una serie di piccoli cottage a poca distanza dal lago (raggiungibile in circa 2 minuti a piedi). I letti sono comodi e il bagno è spazioso e funzionale. La proprietaria, Doris, è molto gentile e amichevole, aiutata da suo fratello Christian, simpaticissimo e di buona compagnia, che ci ha fatto anche da driver nella zona, a prezzi davvero onestissimi. Lo staff è davvero cordiale e disponibile. La colazione, da concordare il giorno prima scegliendo tra varie opzioni, è buona e varia.

Le camere non sono grandissime, e le luci all'interno sono un po' basse.

Il personale e’ gentile e superaccogliente. La loro disponibilità e’ qualcosa di raro 😀 . Struttura bella, pulita e in posizione strategica dalle principali attrazioni della zona .

Very cozy and comfortable cabins with everything you need. Staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant is very delicious.

There could be more choice for breakfast. The restaurant closes at 6pm and there are not many restaurants in walking distance.

Kabinku Bali proved to be an excellent accommodation choice during our recent three-night stay. Christian, the manager, along with the entire staff, demonstrated exceptional hospitality by being attentive, friendly, and highly responsive to our needs. Their considerate approach significantly enhanced our experience. The room was both clean and comfortable, while the cabin itself featured thoughtful and attractive design details. Breakfasts were straightforward yet flavourful, and we found all meals at the Kabinku restaurant to be enjoyable and reasonably priced. We also appreciated the memorable barbeque evening hosted in front of our cabin, which was particularly pleasant beneath the moonlight. Mr. Christian and his team provided valuable assistance in arranging transportation and recommending local attractions, contributing greatly to our enjoyment of Bedugul. Additionally, the Balinese traditional massage we ordered in the afternoon was especially satisfying. In summary, our time at Kabinku Bali exceeded expectations, and we would gladly return. We extend our sincere thanks to Mr. Christian and the entire staff for their outstanding service.

Good comfortable beds with warm blanket which you need as the nights are cold. Nice helpful staff.

Chemical smell in the bathroom was unleasant, probably from savage. Restaurant was new, trying to look modern but the feeling is quite unpersonal. The food tested ok but the portions of the dishes were compared to common ones too small and not worth the prize. Also the fruit drinks were twice as smaller compared to other places, less fruit in it and the prize was 40% higher. Cannot recommend the capuccino although it looks nice. Recommwnd to visit warung at the crossroad.

We came to this glamping spot with our five sons, aged 4 to 20. Two of them had birthdays, and since we rarely travel all together, I spent quite a lot of time choosing the right place — and overall, we were very happy with our choice. We were warmly welcomed. One of the houses was thoughtfully decorated with balloons, and the youngest even received a sweet birthday gift — a lovely touch. The cabins are cozy and clean, with everything you need for a comfortable stay — hot water (though it runs out a bit quickly), a terrace for tea time, and a neat area for a barbecue. The grounds are small but beautifully maintained, full of blooming plants. There’s even a free electric scooter available — we discovered it only on our last day, but the kids were thrilled. The location is excellent: the lake is just a 5-minute walk away, and our kids had great fun catching and releasing fish. There are also several local farms nearby; we recommend visiting them in the evening to buy fresh produce. Breakfasts are simple but tasty. We tried several dishes from the restaurant during our stay — everything was delicious, home-style, and clearly prepared with care. Even the kids — who can be picky — enjoyed the food. The coffee was just the way we like it — not too sour and nicely brewed. One evening we had a barbecue organized by the hotel, and it was also very tasty — a great way to enjoy the fresh mountain air with a warm meal. As a family who loves to cook and knows Indonesian cuisine well, we appreciated the quality of the ingredients. keep in mind that Bedugul is much cooler than the rest of Bali — which we personally love. You won’t need air conditioning at all. On the contrary, don’t forget to pack warm sweaters, socks, and a waterproof jacket, especially if you’re traveling with kids.

Now, about the only downside — and it’s not really about the place itself, but about timing. We arrived from Saturday to Sunday, and unfortunately that night a large group of guests held a loud celebration. In Indonesia, we’re used to weekend karaoke and family gatherings — we live in a Balinese village ourselves — but this time the noise went on all night, which made our first night quite exhausting. Thankfully, the owner was extremely apologetic and kind, doing his best to make up for the inconvenience. After that group left, the rest of our stay was peaceful and lovely. So our suggestion: if you're looking for a quiet getaway, consider coming on weekdays, or On Sunday or asking in advance about group bookings. But don’t hesitate to visit — the host and amazing staff truly care, and the place has heart.
