Bodhi Bingin

Loved the location that was walking distance to the entrance down to Bingin beach. Beautiful property that was very well maintained. The pool was great for lounging in the sun. The rooms were very well designed and comfortable.

Where do I start. I loved everything about Bodhi Bingin. My room was perfectly appointed; the bed, linen and pillows were heavenly. Super cute indoor outdoor bathroom with great water pressure. The aesthetics are so on point, so on trend. I loved the pool, the communal kitchen, the garden. It’s very quiet and even with other guest in the other villas it still felt quite private. The location is also perfect to access all of Bingin’s cafes, restaurants, shops, spas, fitness centres and of course the beach. Lastly, the incredible staff Aly and Wyan are beautiful humans with incredible English (and maths) and were so helpful and friendly and provided outstanding service! I can highly recommend this property.

All is good , very nice place

Beautifully designed. The garden and plants really make this place feel like a small oasis of quiet understated comfort. The bungalows are really thoughtfully constructed and offer the right level of privacy with the front porch and semi outdoor bathroom. The bed was also big and comfy and there’s enough room to relax on a hot day. It’s also in a good part of island - a little less hectic than other parts so genuinely quiet at night and throughout the day.

Nothing. It’s a really great place to stay even if the price might be a little high if you’re planning a longer stay.

Really poor communication - which created a lot of unnecessary stress. Plus, the location is very hard to find - even with Google maps - because it’s literally just a single door on a lane with other doors. My driver kept trying to drop me off at Villa Bodhin - which was not the right spot - because he and I could not find the location at night (and I was literally watching to find this particular green door as he was driving). No one was there for checkin at 6:45 pm, which would’ve possibly been okay, except that I had no idea what room number I had been assigned. So, I was literally wandering the property, trying to find a vacant room. Room was hot on arrival - A/C was not turned on upon arrival. There is no instruction book in the room (something most non-hotel/airbnbs typically provide if they don’t have on-site staff for checkin), so I was walking around the property at night, trying to find the kitchen, water bottle refill station, etc. (if you’re not going to have an actual full-service hotel, please at least provide the typical instruction book of an Airbnb). Much about the room is impractical (electrical outlets are few and in odd places that are not conducive to use; toilet outside; etc). Regarding the only electrical outlet I found that has a table/support to lay your electronic devices on while charging (by the bed)… I could not find a way to get an international power adapter to fit (because of how the outlet is fitted so close to the floor). In Villa 3, there is also no accesible electrical outlet by the large mirror in the room (unless you want to try to reach behind the mirror, unplug the lamp, and risk knocking the large mirror over and breaking it - which I wasn’t willing to do.) Therefore, if you are a woman wanting to use a flat iron or curling iron in front of a mirror, your only other option is to use an outlet in the outdoor bathroom.

It’s so pleasant and quiet, feels close to nature. You can always smell freshness in the air at Bodhi.

We loved our stay in Vila 2 at Bodhi Bingin! It is an absolute pleasure for the aesthetic eye, loved the design. Minimalist and beautiful, from the round and rounded shapes to lightning, textures and colours. The 3 Vilas are not far apart near the pool, but still private. We were very happy with nr2 as it appeared the most private. We only could see greenery and a glimpse of the pool from our bed. The indoor/outdoor bathroom is an absolute delight to spend time in too. The pool is gorgeous, pleasure to laze and swim in, continuing with the designer‘s taste of rounded shapes, the beautiful trees and greenery ‚rounds‘ 😉it all up. The place was peaceful and quiet, but not far from coast and huzzle & buzzle of busy Bingin streets. Staff, especially Ally, were friendly and polite

I can’t say that we didn’t like anything, just mentioning a few things that came to my mind which we appreciated at other villas. I think for the price range there is room of little improvements eg in the shared kitchen area, compared to the beauty and style of the rest of the place, the facilities were very basic. A smoothie mixer could be fantastic. A cloth/sponge to better wipe and clean benches (I really would have loved to clean the stains off the beautiful white tops 😉 A bath mat at the entrance of the Vila would come handy A welcome & info sheet/folder for guests in the villas or kitchen area
