It’s a worst hotel I ever visited

Had a very good time here, is a bit outside the city and less busy. Rooms were cheap, food was good, also inexpensive. I rented a motor-bike from them for low-speed island scouting, also cheap. Isac helped us a lot & in depth with travel arrangements, Everybody else was also very kind, as is the whole island. Generally, the worst thing that can happen in Sumatra, is that people will be upset with themselves after a language misunderstanding. How anyone would be angry with people so genuinely nice all the time, I don't know ;-)

Rubbish strewn around the place, unsafe steps to lake, very loud music from adjacent premises. No water in swimming pool. Checked out after 30 minutes. Explained to host what the issues were but he did not seem to understand. Refused a refund of any amount.

We arrived very late at night but the guy waiting up for us was real helpful and got us settled in. A nice pool by the lake and breakfast in the deal. Room was comfortable, clean and basic.

All good but in the night we couldn't easily distinguish between the receptions for the two adjoining hotels. Not really a problem though.

The resort is next to the lake. There is a swimming pool and karaoke place. The food is great and the staff are helpful. We had our meal with the lakeview. The hotel is nearby the boat jetty and the boat ride was so beautiful. They put me in a room with the lake view. Love it.

I took the wrong bus and ended up at the other side of the lake. Luckily i called the hotel and they send a driver.

It's location and hotel is also good

- the food in the restaurant was great - the old lady (the owner) was really kind - there was a big group over the weekend which was pretty noisy, but the owner informed us beforehand - breakfast was also nice, because it changed every day - the restaurant has a nice view of the lake

- the boat dropped us between the two ports, since there were two different prices for the pickup from the port to the hotel, we felt a bit "betrayed" that they charged us both prices for the pick up (150K in total) for quite a short ride - the dogs fought every night, which was a bit noisy - we had some dead cock roaches in the bath room - over the weekend, it can be really noisy, also in the room

Helpful and friendly staff, clean restaurant and scenic location. Would be great for a relaxing holiday by the lake as the complex contains all you really need and good wifi. Airport taxi can be arranged by the hotel if needed. Toiletries are also provided. The food is also very tasty.

Quite far from town with very little public transport. We got a room that unfortunately had lots of ants in it. I am sure if we said something they would have done something to help this. The bathroom looked quite unclean on arrival and the tap was loose.
