We had to pay again when we got there. Either a scam or new owners, do not prebook but good to use for a night, so just turn up.

SCAM. Cannot book this hostel through Booking.com. I arrived and owner told me that he has tried to remove the listing from Booking.com but it is still up. Was not given a room and my money was still taking. Please avoid and don’t make my mistake.

The place is a scam, they don’t exist as Aby bungalow. They will try to make pay around 15€ per night and the place look horrible.

ITS A SCAM! i arrived there and there is a hostel but it’s called Abi Bungalow and backpacker and it’s not the one listed on booking. The owner told us he keeps getting people from booking asking for rooms that don’t actually exist. The owner of the real hostel was very friendly and helpful and we managed to rent a room in his hostel.

Location wise, the best. Near to port. Suitable for staying a night before taking boat to Gili.

The owner was unfriendly, as I had confirmed 4 rooms in Booking.com app, but the owner insisted to give us 3 rooms with the paid price (as i know, wrong listed price in Booking.com) At last, owner gave us 4 rooms without paying any extra. His staffs are fine, helpful to help me to solve issues. Thanks to them.

Perfect place to start your tour of Lombock or to spend couple of days. Only few minutes walk from the pier where the ferries to/from Bali, Gillis, Nusa Penida are arriving. But literally in the middle of the Paddy's field. With the lovely gazebo overlooking it. What a view ! There is also lovely high stool bar onsite. Owners Mr Han and his wife Ms Rima are the nicest people ever. Same their staff. They look after your all needs, organise the good scooters, delivered to the door, serve fab breakfast, which you can cook with Ms Rima. Tea & Coffee as much as you want. But, most importantly both Mr Han and Ms Rima are really interested in people. And have very good English. So we spent good few evening hours chatting in the gazebo overlooking the Paddy's fields. Feeling like with friends more than with hosts. Were going to stay just for 1 night, but it became much longer :-) Couldn't recommend more :-)

The descriptions of the room online are completely false. I booked a “double room” and was put in a single top bunk above a double bed with a couple staying beneath me- the description clearly implies that I would’ve had my own double bed and it wasn’t just me who thought this as when the couple arrived they were shocked to see they had a roommate too. The “en suite bathroom” is a dingy little shower, no toilet or sink so can hardly call it a bathroom. Additionally the description says there is air conditioning, there is not, there was only a single fan which didn’t even reach my top bunk. When I expressed my frustrations of this not being what I had booked the owner was incredibly rude. Don’t stay here, I know it’s cheap but it’s not even worth that.
