It’s a recently opened hotel. There is a nice atmosphere. Everyone seems to be excited they are one of the team. The reception is professional and speaks very good English. The breakfast is rich if you love Indonesian food.

We booked the suite with balcony. The balcony turned out to be a very minimal standing place of one square meter (smoking not allowed ). The suite was spacious but the design was maybe nice on the table of the architect but in practice very strange. On the sofa you are sitting first row to see the televisionscreen but also to see your partner brushing his/her teeth and maybe cleaning the private parts: the wash basin is in the open! And if you want to take a shower you have to undress yourself on the connected toilet. Be aware of the floor of the shower, it’s very slippery. The location gets good reviews but I bet they are made by people with a car. It’s a 45 minutes walk to the old centre! The good news is the reception arranges a taxi very quickly and the drive cost you maximum 2 euro. We were not impressed by the facilities. The gym was very small. And their is no separate massageroom ( the massage has to be done at your room).

Excellent location and modern hotel. The rooms are clean, spacious and modern. The staff is very friendly and professional and always there to help or just answer questions. Amenities are basic but sufficient.

The rooms are not soundproof and because they lack a proper entrance (hallway) all the sound from the outside hallway is loud and clear in the room. From opening and closing doors to talking and activities in the bathroom in the next room. Also, the rooms don’t have mini safety boxes in the rooms (you need to contact the front desk who will prepare one down there for you). The rooms are clearly designed in a minimalist style which just doesn’t make sense in some choices. Finally and very importantly the pillows are quite bad and uncomfortable whereas the bed is quite good. Shower is good but it can take a couple of minutes to get warm water. Room with city view is not guaranteed but promised on the booking page. Breakfast is average and if you’re western like us I strongly recommend skipping this and go to Eastman Coffee House 10 minutes walking. All-in-all it’s a good hotel but realistically we will try a different hotel next time in Semarang.
