The Trail Inn - Slayton, MN - HWY 59

Love the Keurig coffee maker and having a recliner in the room.

This was a nice hotel close to where my family reunion was being held. The checkin process was unique, easy, and worked well.

Very self sufficient service , good communication regarding process for self check in

Fridge and microwave were a pleasant surprise. No hairdryer.

An old motel that is revamped. The new carpet was nice. New TV. The bed was comfortable. We had a quiet and restful 2 night stay. The price was reasonable considering the condition. A flimsy lock on the door, older drapes that wouldn't close, rust stains on the fixtures. That said, we will stay there again. Staff super friendly.

The only issue was the toilet it really did not want to flush torpedoes that’s the only issue I suspect that particular rooms toilet will be upgraded before my next visit

Really cute, updated lobby set a high bar that didn't match the rooms. The no-touch "key locker" was very innovative. The rooms had dated fixtures, but some updates - carpet, bedding, K-cup coffee. They also had two doors, which was odd for a motel (one door to the parking lot and a second door to an internal hall). The rooms were clean and had nice toiletries.
