In over 200 stays at hotels.com hotels, in 60 years of international travel, this was by far the worst experience of my life. They claimed no relationship with hotels.com, said it was a scam, said I had not paid. I showed them all the documentation. They knocked on my door from 18:00 to 20:30 and started again at 07:30. Very quiet location on the edge of a farming gully, and a very short walk to the fantastic market street and restaurants. Our room located at the rear of the property was very peaceful, with an outdoor sitting area. Inside was clean, comfortable and homely. The on site Cafe is also really lovely with rural views and a fish pond, and lovely staff.

Be careful if you hire their old motorbike. We did, and had to replace the ancient rear tyre when it shredded not far up the road. The owner would not refund the hire money and only paid part of the tyre cost.

Calm location and beautiful room.
