S Phuot Travel Da Nang

I arrived a bit late from the airport but the staff helped me with my luggage which was really kind. I had originally booked an all-girls dorm, but due to a system issue, I was moved to a mixed dorm. Luckily, it was very quiet and the guests who arrived the next morning were also calm and respectful. There were two other girls, a couple, and another solo traveler in the same room. Overall, it was a nice stay. I had everything I needed. When I returned from Hoi An, the lovely host even let me leave my luggage for about five hours at no cost, as my flight was in the evening. The location is also convenient, with restaurants and coffee shops nearby.

Free massage chair, pool table, balcony overlooking the main street. Hostel is not in a touristy neighbourhood and you’re in with the locals. The area is varied and there some lovely eateries a few blocks away from the main street which cater to virtual nomads. It’s close-ish to the beach and there is everything that you need for a short stay within walking distance.

The hostel is kept clean but it’s in the middle of a lot of restaurants which means that there can be unwanted ‘visitors’. The beds are clean but hard and unforgiving. The ‘deposit’ for the towel is non-refundable, which is ok but not mentioned. There is some difficulty communicating with the reception staff, and Google translate, although handy, did have some interesting translations! Enjoyed but would not return.

It was clean and in a great location. They also have a sauna, massage chair and pool table!

Value for money, clean rooms, comfortable beds, clean washroom. Staff is very good (though don't speak English, but can communicate with Google translate). I got to hostel at 10 am, I was immediately given a bed.

I saw a big rat running into the kitchen area in restaurant in ground floor. It isn't the problem of the hostel but probably the problem of area as there are lot of eateries around. Major turn off though was, once when I paid for the food I ordered in restaurant. The change given one of the note was torn (tried to sneak that in with few more notes), they changed it after after I pointed (but looked intentional). It's one of the girl working there not the senior staff members.

You have to pay for towels which is ridiculous to me. 20 or 30k. Otherwise pool table was very good, massage chair and middle floor gas sofa area and balcony. Room was clean and modern one shower head was broken. Didn't have breakfast. Allowed me to store my bag there all day

They don't have hot water facility.
