Hà Giang Hotel Sapa

the floor was cracking apart, ceiling was mouldy, room smelt musty

I like the location because it's very close to Sun Plaza and just a street away from the restaurants and cafes and shops.

I didn't like the ambience and mood of the place. I booked for 3 days and 2 nights but the entire time I was the only guest and it felt a super creepy. I was given the room on the 3rd floor and I had to walk the stairs with my luggage since there's no elevator. They have hot shower but handle is broken. Receptionist doesnt speak English we had to talk using Google translate and a calculator. Room has an "old" scent. Main door has only one regular door knob and secondary lock from the inside. I really felt uncomfortable that I left early.

Host Pham was always very friendly and helpful, and even invited me to have dinner with his family and to try Vietnamese whiskey :) He also helped me to arrange everything I needed, guided tour, Fansipan ticket and bus to Ha Giang. It's a budget hostel, so room was basic and looked old, but bed was pretty comfortable. Location is amazing, practically in the center of everything.

Room was little bit run down and smelled weird

The receptionists were always really friendly and ready to give us suggestions about what to do in Sa Pa. They also respected our wish to not book any tours and gave us other valid options. Our room was very comfortable and clean and the hotel is at a very good position, close to Sa Pa SSB as well.

Very nice stay, we felt here very comfortable. The family owning this hotel is so welcoming, speaking perfect English. They prepared us breakfast because it was too rainy to go out and they let us try local fruits. We at least bought something small from their shop to thank them for their generosity. The hotel is located in the city center. You can rent a motor bike here, book a trip or transport to the next destination.

You can find some marks after a mold but the mold is not there anymore. The air is really nice and fresh in the rooms.

Everything. The staff was amazing! Nice, kind, jenerouse and helpful. They helped us with everything we needed, they took our bags upstairs, booked us tickets for the train and cable car, the took care of our laundry (in cheap price and great service) and he even gave me a pineapple when I couldn't find where to buy one..:) The location is the best, very central and close to everything. The room was comfortable and worth the price and beyond.
