Natalie's Villa & Resort Moc Chau

We give this property 10/10 without a slight hesitation. The extensive resort grounds offer a lush and peaceful oasis in the midst of the farmlands, a true Vietnamese countryside. The cabin we’ve stayed at was super spacious and beautifully designed with traditional local materials, fabrics and art. The key part though was an incredible attention we’ve received from the staff starting with Kiên, a resort manager. All our personalized needs were met with genuine care, including our complicated dietary requests. Kiên also helped us arrange a private guided trekking down the final 15 km of the picturesque Vietnamese trail marathon. We’re grateful for having known all these beautiful and kind people and learning more about their amazing country.

I honestly don’t understand how this property can be under-rated. My husband and I have had an exceptional stay at the resort and were extremely happy with our beautiful spacious cabin, the lush gardens and especially with most genuine personal care we’ve received from the staff, especially Kiên, the resort manager.

The good: The villas are beautiful. Very comfortable. The bad: 1) Like many resorts, Natalie's is a taxi ride away from any services. Unlike many resorts in this situation, it doesn't offer food options outside of breakfast and dinner. We arrived at 1pm and asked to have lunch at the restaurant. We were told that wasn't possible. 2) We were looking forward to a nice relaxing swim in the pool after lunch, but when we returned the pool was packed with loud kids. Fair enough we thought, they've paid to stay here too. But it turns out the resort sells day passes for the pool. We paid 3mill per night to stay, pool passes are 30k per child. It ruined the chill vibe we were expecting, and makes using the pool in those hours pretty uninviting. The same thing happened both afternoons we were there. 3) Despite accomdation being mainly two person villas, most dishes on the restaurant menu are for a minimum of four people. Strange. 4) No card payment option is a bit of a red flag for a place this expensive. If the place was less expensive, I would have way less of an issue with all of these. But if you're deciding to be a 3mill per night upscale resort, you've got to commit to it. Overall a very disappointing stay for the price.

Staff was exceptional. Kien was fluent in English and took care of me in a way that I have rarely experienced in a hotel staff member. He became a friend. Pool was great and so was the sauna.

Food was good but things like plain milk for coffee wasn’t available.

The room was beautiful down to the last detail.

When we arrived, there was no one who speaks English. We asked for something to eat there was no food, Next morning we decided to leave. It looks like a lot of thought and effort were put to make this place really nice, however, the location isn't nice at all.

The room was absolutely stunning, very nice with an ethnic style and a high level of elegance!

Georgious resort, with bungalows, facilities and gardens that respect the local architecture and environment. Furnishings of very high aesthetics and fresh food with many options. The staff is incredibly helpful and accommodating as well. This is a great place to decompress from city life.

Il est regrettable que le paiement par carte bancaire ne soit pas possible. Pour 6 nuits, il faut trouver 21 000 000 de dons cash ! Merci aux petites attentions des femmes de ménage. 😍 Cadre champêtre et calme. Merci à la gentillesse des habitants des alentours. Alentours merveilleux.
