Danang Backpacker Hostel and Spa

This is definitely the best hostel I’ve stayed in so far in Vietnam. The bed was huge and incredibly comfortable! Honestly, I don’t understand the complaints about space at all: I had a full locker under the bed where all my belongings fit perfectly, plus there were shelves between the beds to place personal items. I personally used two of them and they were completely full! On top of that, the kindness of Kien, Tu and Hien was truly over the top! They were always available to help with anything, so sweet, friendly, and constantly smiling. I honestly felt very lucky to have met them. Last but definitely not least, the location is fantastic. The hostel is in a beautiful neighborhood, just a five-minute walk from the beach, but most importantly in a real, local area lived in by locals. There’s a wonderful market just a few minutes away, and right behind the hostel there’s a lovely little spot where you can have a beer and eat delicious fish. Overall, this hostel is a great opportunity to experience real local life. Highly recommended!

What really made the difference, though, was the reception staff. A special thank you to Kieu, Hien, and Tu — I hope I’m spelling their names correctly. They were all incredibly kind, helpful, and always smiling. From check-in to giving tips about the city, they made me feel comfortable and well taken care of.

I checked in and immediately checked the room and checked out. Smells bad, far off dark alley location, and the facilities are too small.
