There is a lift and bathrooms seem to have been renovated but thats all that I can compliment them on.

The entire building smells damp and mouldy- the reception, the lift, the rooms. There was a big mouldy patch in my room. The aircon isn't very efficient and my bed, which was the top bunk was very hot. My assigned storage unit was quite high up, which made packing and getting my bags rather inconvenient. Very impractical. If you are one that cannot handle smells, I wouldn't recommend this place. The lock on the room door also seemed to be broken... I could enter the room without using my key. It shouldn't be okay for a hostel to host people when there is so much mould... unacceptable and seriously concerning.

De gordijnen en muren zijn vergeven van de schimmel en dat vertaalt zich in een overweldigende schimmelgeur in de slaapkamer. De douche is ok met koud water, zodra je warm water aanzet moet je het stellen met een lage druk water. In de bar op het 5e verdiep, was er een fout met de QR code waardoor ik daar niet kon bestellen. Toen het zo hard regende en het niet evident was om in die verlaten buurt nog iets te scoren heb ik toch nog aangedrongen iets te kunnen drinken en liefst ook eten. Drinken ging dan wel maar dan moest ik naar gelijkvloers om op die QR code aan de balie te scannen (die werkte gelukkig wel) en afrekenen. Eten was inmiddels te laat dus ben met honger naar bed gegaan.

Good place for resting and having a good time. The staff are kind and friendly.

I had a very disappointing experience with this property. Upon check-in, I paid the full amount by credit card and was informed there was an electricity outage, with power expected to return between 3:00–4:00 PM. However, I was not told that there was also no running water. By 5:00 PM, there was still neither electricity nor running water in my room. After traveling all day in temperatures above 30°C, these conditions were completely unacceptable, so I decided to check out. While I was completing the check-out process in the lobby, the electricity briefly returned, but there was still no running water in my room. I was told that my stay would be cancelled free of charge, which I accepted. However, I was then asked to provide my credit card details again in order to process the refund. For security reasons, I was uncomfortable sharing my card information in this way and requested that the refund be issued through the original payment method instead. In addition, the pool was extremely small, and because it is located on the rooftop, the water becomes very hot from direct sun exposure, making it unpleasant to use. The neighborhood also did not feel very appealing, the property is far from the beach, and it is much too far from the restaurants and downtown area. Overall, the experience did not meet expectations, and I am still waiting for confirmation that my full refund has been processed.
