The best hostel I've stayed in while traveling. The owners are the most kind and I can't say enough positive things about staying here. I chose the location by the beach because old town is very noisy. The street they are located on makes you feel right at home. Lan and Martin are the best. I hope to stay again one day and maintain their friendship.

I stayed at Nalani Homestay for almost 3 weeks, and honestly… it felt like home. Everything here is done with care and intention. The place is very clean, the breakfast is delicious, and having free coffee, tea, and drinking water available all day is such a nice touch. The pool is perfect for relaxing, especially after a long day exploring. The location is ideal — quiet and peaceful, yet very close to everything: the Vegetable Village, Hoi An Old Town, and just a few minutes from the beach. There are also restaurants and small shops nearby, and the area is beautiful for walks, especially at sunset. You can even do SUP on the lake, which was a great experience. But what truly makes this place special is the people. The hosts are absolutely amazing — kind, warm, and genuinely supportive. They create such a good energy that naturally attracts beautiful people. During my stay, there were family dinners, themed parties, and real connections between guests. It’s not just accommodation, it’s a community. You have both dorms and private rooms, all at very good prices, making it accessible for any type of traveler. After spending 3 weeks here, I can confidently say this place is something special. 10/10, highly recommended — and I would come back anytime.

The hostel is on a great location if looking for a beach stay. The facilities were nice, clean, and functional.

Staff seemed to be quite lost with things. First of all, there was no one at the reception when I arrived, the bed I had booked was missing the blanket and towel even though the receptionist told me ''they're supposed to be there''. She assured me the sheets were changed for me e.g. but the missing items made me wonder if it truly was.. Secondly the dorm rooms do not lock. Not even the female dorm's door which is kinda questionable. Also, there was another girl who checked in the same day and was told my bed was hers (all the other beds in the dorm were already occupied). That created a good amount of confusion and took a while for the staff to figure out what had happened - apparently the owner of the hostel had accidentally shown her a wrong (my) bed even tho it wasn't even the room type she had originally booked. Nothing major, but quite a few odd things happening all at once giving a very unorganized vibe.
