I stayed at Nalani Hostel for 5 nights during my backpacking trip through Vietnam, and it was easily one of the best hostels I’ve experienced. The location is fantastic, just a short walk from the beach and surrounded by cozy coffee places and great restaurants. From the moment you arrive, Lan (the owner) makes you feel right at home with her warm welcome. The room was spacious and had its own bathroom. Both the room and bathroom were exceptionally clean, just like the rest of the hostel. The beds were comfortable and offered a bit of privacy, which was perfect for relaxing after long days exploring. There’s also fast Wi-Fi, and you can grab snacks and drinks on an honor system—such a nice touch. Every morning there are multiple breakfast options, all of which were delicious. The staff were super friendly and always ready to help with anything, whether it was arranging trips to Monkey Mountain in Da Nang or booking a shuttle bus to Hue. I’d give Nalani a full 5 stars and I’m already planning to come back in a few weeks for a second stay. Highly recommended if you’re visiting Hoi An!

Everything is great! 11/10. Location is a short walk to the beach, coffee shops and restaurants or quick grab ride into the old city. Scooter and bicycle rentals available. Super clean and comfortable bed and very well designed facilities with pool. Delicious breakfasts and very good coffee. Hosts are 11/10 with friendly welcome and a home away from home vibe. Super chilled, relaxing and friendly oasis. Ideal refuge to recharge.

Great stay at Nalani thanks to Martin and Lan. Awesome breakfast each morning, lunch is also available for purchase (great tuna sandwich) and Martin even made pizza for dinner during our stay. Location is great - few minutes walk to the beach, 10ish to cafes/restaurants and a 5min scooter/grab ride into old town. Loved the private room with balcony overlooking the pool. We extended our stay twice

Incredible, social hostel, lovely private room! I also stayed at the other highly rated hostel around the corner and felt this one was so much better, and cheaper! Would 100% stay here again if I’m in the area again! Couldn’t recommend it more.

It was perfect

Fantastic location close to the beach, friendly and helpful staff Martin and Lan make breakfast and recommend activities and places to check out, great value for comfortable accommodations, pool is great for cooling down after a hot day at the beach, turned my 3-day stay into 2 weeks!

Beds are a bit hard, but I like a firmer mattress. Some bugs here and there but things were kept clean daily.
