De Vivre Homestay Măng Đen

It felt like I drove into a cottage area. The place was very beautiful. Room was clean. The hostess was pleasant to speak with and she was helpful with any questions I had. There was a caretaker (I presumed) that was very nice to talk to as well. I had noodle soup for breakfast and it was awesome. I had a motorcycle so it felt easy to get into town or to visit nature in the area. Recommended.

There was charm to the quirkiness of the decor of the place

Noone speaks English except (I think) the owner. That's okay with language apps, but there rarely was anyone on site to ask for anything. There was FB messenger number but a response could be hours later. The breakfast was awful. The two times there was someone at the receptionist desk, the women were unpleasant at best. Mang Den is a wonderful town with wonderful people, and I feel this place is an exception. I encourage everyone to visit this hidden gem of a town.

Good view of the woods from our balcony when we checked in around 3 pm; but it ended when a lot of people from the tent below showed up and made noise with loud talk and lousy music to about 10 pm; and it quiet down only after we called the front desk twice and even went down to the front desk. We were disappointed because we thought we booked this homestay for its quietness. The breakfast was minimal with coffee and a bowl of beef noodle Bò Kho. Not recommended.
