It's Clean, it's reasonably close to the busier parts of HaiPhong, but.... And this is quite disappointing. IF YOU BOOK HERE BE PREPARED FOR SOME TYPE OF EXTRA FEES TO SCAM YOU OUT OF MONEY We arrived & were told a story that the room that we booked had broken air-conditioning. The lady said we would have to pay extra 120,000 dong for a different, bigger room for 4 nights, plus we must pay extra 30,000d for cleaning fees. We showed our booking confirmation through Expedia which didn't mention any extra fees except something regarding local Taxes, but this request for more money was not related to Taxes. This was a blatant attempt to get more money in cash from us for a fully paid booking To find out more, I asked to see the room with the broken air-conditioning and the lady showed me.... The air-conditioning in that room was working, with no problem and someone was using the room as there were clothes and personal items in the room. We negotiated something after a long discussion and I'm sure the extra money went straight into the ladies pocket and not to the owner. This is the first time in 15 years of travelling Vietnam that I have encountered such a dishonest, unprofessional and disappointing experience. I do not recommend this place unless you are prepared to argue about money.
