Holiday Hotel 2

When I arrived 04h00 in the morning from sleeper bus from Ha Giang, my room was not available at Holiday 2. The receptionist gave it away when I did not arrive at 02h00, although I specifically informed them of late arrival, which they acknowledged. I was told to go to Holiday Hotel, their partner. The taxi cost me additional 50K on top of the 300k I paid from the bus stop. My booking into Holiday Hotel was good. The next morning I went to see the manager, and through the staff at the desk I spoke through an interpreter to the owner/cousin of the person. I requested 50k taxi fare to be deducted. They refused, and spent a considerable time explaining that I ticked the wrong box, check in 02h00, and they don't know about my special request, although I showed them the hotels response, which said thank you it will be okay. I gave up and lost that 50k dong.

Comfortable bed, and clean room.

I booked a room with air condition, and they couldn't manage to give me a room with it. They told me it's wrong in all of the rooms. That's minimum condition for a traveler in a city with 40 degrees and humidity. After a long conversation with the manager, they give me a discount, but the way that they don't speak or even don't wanna try english and talk to me is critical. I not suggest this accomodation, never again.

Near the centre and has an affortable price. Quiet and clean room.

Good value for basic/normal room accomodations. Rooms relatively clean and spacious. Hotel is off a busy street so not much noise or traffic. Great local cafe (Sanh Cafe) and many restaurants nearby.
