All right, unfortunately it’s in a excellent area, but I feel almost bad saying anything negative because I was trying to support small business, but it needs to be cleaned. Updated for sure.
Reasonably priced and even though they’re offsite, the staff was very responsive. The room was nice and the bed was quite comfortable. Could have used a vacuuming but overall it was a pleasant stay.

With no staff on site, we ran out of toilet paper and had to buy more & only had two towels.

NO ONE IS HERE. Basically an "Airbnb" motel. Lonely & UNSAFE if you were to need help. No office. Only a phone number & the rude angry person gives you a code. Kept threatening me with "you don't have to stay!" when I was appalled there's no office, only a phone number, ZERO OTHER GUESTS, and an unsafe ramshackle "gazebo" in deserted parking lot. Plus far too much money for this! I passed a dozen more motels WITH STAFF & other guests that are right on Rte 2 & cost far less.
what stay? The woman refused to give us the code to get into the room; unless I gave her my credit card number. When I reminded her the account was paid in full for our week stay through Expedia and I wasn't giving her my credit card number, she said "Well you aren't staying here and slammed the phone down on my call. When I called Expedia to complain and demand my money back, I got an agent on the line, located in a third world country, who didn't understand idioms and the conversation was a waste of my time; when I asked to be transferred to a agent in the United States - he refused to transfer me; instead he said he would call the motel woman and listen to her side of the story. Well he called the woman, she refused to return my money stating I didn't give 24 hr notice on the cancellation; no mention of her demanding my credit card number and refusing to give the code to enter the room, or that she hung up on me. Being very dissatisfied and quite angry, I asked to speak to his supervisor. I was transferred to another agent in El Salvador! You could hear the kids and chickens in the background, another waste of my time with nothing to show for it. So, the woman operating the Gladstone Motel beat me out of my money and I had to find another place to stay $$$$$. Expedia was no help what so ever.
Contactless checked in and clean bed. Will recommand this motel to other visitors.
The staff was nice. They transferred me from one dirty room to another when i called and complained about the first room. These rooms are very outdated and not properly cleaned. This is fine for someone drinking at the bar and needs somewhere to stumble to and sleep it off. If you're stone cold sober I wouldnt recommend. We only stayed 1 of the 3 nights we booked.
