If you are looking for a bed to crash in and somewhere to shower, conveniently located by a freeway so you can hop back on the road this morning -then this is a great value choice for you. If you're looking for literally anything more than that, you may want to keep looking. Good front desk service, as quiet as you could expect for it's location, and within 10-15 minutes drive from most things on the east side of Portland including the airport.

Crummy property so regret staying here , would of rather slept at a rest stop . Also I asked for late check out was given the ok but still was walked in on by property owner asking why I’m still here even though I got clearance. No call walked in angry and scared me . Room had weird smell and everything was low budget.

The motel is outdated. The owner was friendly and check in was fine except the initial room had not been cleaned from prior guests. The rooms are studios so it had cabinets, a mini Fridge, kitchen-styled sink, microwave, and counter top. Excellent lighting of the property. Made me feel safe parking there. No seating or tables. Overall, it was ok for a single night stay.

The gentleman who checked me in was delightful, and friendly. The area isn’t the best in town and homeless people were wandering around the area. That’s not the fault of Banfield and just part of Portland’s atmosphere. I would have preferred the a/c to be a little quieter, it sounded like a jet engine preparing for takeoff. I also would have appreciated a coffee machine. Overall it was adequate but not a luxury experience. 3.5/5 stars.
