Hitching Post Country Motel

The room wasn't very clean. Lots of hair in the shower and a very moldy pizza was in the microwave. Had probably been there for a week or more. Otherwise fine.

Very nice, basic motel. Tiny but adequate facilities for ablution. Rooms much nicer than the photos suggest. Reasonably convenient. Fairly quiet at night.

No towels in our room!

The beds were surprisingly comfortable

I was looking for clean and basic accommodations, and this was surprisingly so much better than I expected. Kind, clean, nice space and comfortable. Thank you!!

The room was clean on the surface, but there was spider webs in literally every corner of this room, many of them with the spiders still living there. The beds, shower and sink all had hair in or around them. There were dead roaches in the sink drawer and bathroom. The toilet was difficult to get to flush correctly. It was pretty disgusting.

Quaint motel in good condition. Friendly and accomodating staff. Safe area so the manager communicated clearly with us and arranged our late check in without issue. (key left in accessible place)

We enjoyed our stay here. It may be small but it’s clean and very comfortable and close to Kent!

Musty odor, no towel racks, very basic, barely adequate accommodation and not worth the $130/night room rate, surly manager.

While the people who run the place were friendly, the towels had makeup stains, the shower didn’t drain, and sink had hair in it, and the sheets were very poor quality.
